Looking at Tomorrow

One the doorstep of 2008 ask yourself a few questions.

What do you want for tomorrow? Meditate on it.
What do you want for the country? Meditate on it.
What do you want for the world? Meditate on it.

Perhaps we can change what may be.
Perhaps we can alter the destiny that lies before us.
Perhaps we can manifest a new destiny.

If you can learn to alter tomorrow....I can teach you to change next year today.
If you can learn to alter next year, we can change the decade to come.

It only takes three of us to alter the world...What can twelve do? Twenty-Two? A Hundred?

The Sumarians believed that the future was not yet manifest, the past a shadow that can be changed and improved since you knew what went wrong. The most important part was the present. To the Sumarians the present was the point in time where the future becomes the past.

Yet, a modern song writer put it a little more beautiful.

What kind of world do you want?
Think anything!
Let's start at the start
Build a masterpiece
Becareful what you wish for.
History starts NOW!

A Quick Word About Agreements

The other day I am in discussion with a friend regarding permissions when I made the statement that you can change the word permissions and call them agreements then perhaps an individual will grasp the concept easier.

Upon reflection of that statement I realize that I am wrong. The truth is that Agreements is a basic sub-law of Permissions and that it is equally as powerful. It is the the selection expert of what events within a permission you are willing to allow happen/not happen.

As I meditated on that further, I found the power of agreements growing and I sat daily training my mind and spirit to agree and disagree with events I found things starting to happen that stopped. Fears starting to arise would diminish when I informed them that I don't agree with them. It was an interesting feeling. I am going to dive deep into this with an essay once we get past the holy days.

Truth about Sin

Now let us see what the word impeccability means. Impeccability means "without sin." Impeccable comes from the Latin pecatus, which means "sin." The im in impeccable means "without," so impeccable means "without sin." Religions talk about sin and sinners, but let's understand what it really means to sin. A sin is anything that you do which goes against yourself. Everything you feel or believe or say that goes against yourself is sin. You go against yourself when you judge or blame yourself for anything. Being without sin is exactly the opposite. Being impeccable is not going against yourself. When you are impeccable, you take responsibility for your actions, but you do not judge or blame yourself.
From this point of view, the whole concept of sin changes from something moral or religious to something commonsense. Sin begins with rejections of yourself. Self-rejection is the biggest sin that you commit. In religious terms self-rejection is a "mortal sin," which leads to death. Impeccability, on the other hand, leads to life.

Vision of tomorrow

For those out there that know me, you know then that up coming Presidential election is the election that has had me the most concerned for years. It has been a terrible thinking and feeling that what we are looking at is the end of many ways of life.

I have felt that if 2008 election is so critical in the universe that events it could bring about are either going to be detrimental or promising. We are at the fork in the road.

Before I go any further, I just want to put a disclaimer in here that the individual I am about to discuss that was in my vision, I have no problem with their race/religion/color/sex. Some times when they are the first at attempting some thing, they just may not be the right one needed to do us good. It is not that I do not believe that we as a people or nation are not ready for either a woman or black President, it might just be the individual representing that sex/color that we are not ready for.

My vision was that Obama had won the Presidency. When the announcement came in that he had won I turned to my wife and told her that we needed to get ready to leave.

Within the first two years of his Presidency, his inexperience in politics showed and we as a nation went from a recession into a depression. Policies of standardization started to be passed and we as a nation took on the look and feel of a European Socialist nation. The feel was nearly of the old Eastern Block type countries.

There was a protest in which college students were demonstrating their refusal to conform to the new policies and were displaying an open act of rebellion. The National Guard was called in and it ended in a repeat of Kent State. The primary difference is that the NG was ordered to fire on the students and there were hundreds of students murdered. It was then that America woke up and realized that it had made a mistake, but it was too late. Totalitarianism was already in place.

Was it a glimpse of what might happen if the card table tips one direction or another?

Or is it warning.

Again, I have a 50/50 chance on this - I hope I am wrong.

A lesson on Etymology

Welcome to the 21st century. I would like to congratulate you on your journey this far as a society. Yet, we need to address a few issues. Especially with this language they are calling ENGLISH.

To begin with, I would like to address what is known as Etymology. Etymology is the study of words, especially the origins and meanings of the words.

Let me give you an example. Now please keep in mind that I am not attending to offend any one, I am just going to use words that have recently altered their meanings. Recently, being a relative term, I referencing the past 50 years. Shall we begin?

Temper: According to Princeton, the relative definitions for the word Temper would be.
1. anneal: toughen (steel or glass) by a process of gradually heating and cooling; "temper glass"
2. pique: a sudden outburst of anger; "his temper sparked like damp firewood"
3. harden by reheating and cooling in oil; "temper steel"
4. a characteristic (habitual or relatively temporary) state of feeling; "whether he praised or cursed me depended on his temper at the time"; "he was in a bad humor"
5. adjust the pitch (of pianos)
6. a disposition to exhibit uncontrolled anger; "his temper was well known to all his employees"
7. make more temperate, acceptable, or suitable by adding something else; moderate; "she tempered her criticism"
8. the elasticity and hardness of a metal object; its ability to absorb considerable energy before cracking
9. chasten: restrain or temper

Look at definition number nine and definition number six. The appear to be at odds with each other. You have one definition speaking of chasten and restrain and another definition speaking of releasing anger.
So, what then does the word Temper mean? Well, it is actually a Latin word as is much of the English language. The origin is temperantia which means moderation, self-control and temperance and is the origin of the English word temperance as the abbreviated slang version temper.

Shall we try another word that has recently altered its definition? Let us examine the word gay.

Gay: According to Princeton, the relative definitions for the word Gay would be.

1. cheery: bright and pleasant; promoting a feeling of cheer; "a cheery hello"; "a gay sunny room"; "a sunny smile"
2. full of or showing high-spirited merriment; "when hearts were young and gay"; "a poet could not but be gay, in such a jocund company"- Wordsworth; "the jolly crowd at the reunion"; "jolly old Saint Nick"; "a jovial old gentleman"; "have a merry Christmas"; "peals of merry laughter"; "a mirthful ...
3. given to social pleasures often including dissipation; "led a gay Bohemian life"; "a gay old rogue with an eye for the ladies"
4. brave: brightly colored and showy; "girls decked out in brave new dresses"; "brave banners flying"; "`braw' is a Scottish word"; "a dress a bit too gay for her years"; "birds with gay plumage"
5. offering fun and gaiety; "a festive (or festal) occasion"; "gay and exciting night life"; "a merry evening"
6. homosexual: someone who practices homosexuality; having a sexual attraction to persons of the same sex
7. homosexual or arousing homosexual desires

Given the first five definitions, number six and seven seem to be at odds with the others. The reason is that the term of “GAY” was used in the context of definition number four to describe the way some homosexual males would dress, especially if they decided to dress in drag (another word that can be researched). So, as one word was used in its proper terminology to describe the actions of another, it was adopted by those individuals as a word to continue to describe themselves to the point where the meaning changed within society to give reference only to a life style choice and not the other five definitions that are available for the same word.

There are countless words whose definitions are lost because of changes with in society. Now, take those exact same words and attempt to translate them into a language that may or may not have a matching word. We run in to a language barrier.

Biblically, my favorite barrier is found in the book of John. John 21: 15 – 17 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

The word I would like you to examine is the word LOVE. Here, in these three verses, we have two problems. Problem number one is a translation problem of the word love and problem number two comes from the lost translation. The lost translation changes the impact of the dialog.

It should read as follows: When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly agapao me more than these?" "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I phileo you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly agapao me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I phileo you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you phileo me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I phileo you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

Agapao means: to love (in a social or moral sense) or as the Christians have adopted, to love with a God like love.
Phileo means: to be a friend to (fond of (an individual or an object), i.e. have affection for; specially, to kiss (as a mark of tenderness) -- kiss, love. Also it has come to mean a brotherly like love. Hence the reason Philadelphia is named the city of Brotherly love.

Those two words mean everything to the interchange going on. Because Jesus was trying to get Peter to meet him at his level, at the level of a great God like love. Peter could not reach that level and kept responding that he loves Jesus like a brother. Finally, after two attempts, Jesus gives in and asks Peter if he loves him like a brother, to which Peter responded that he did. The impact is, that shortly there after Jesus ascended into the heavens and the holy spirit was poured out on the earth giving man the ability to have that agapao love. This discussion was the last time that God met man at mans level of understand. Now all the tools are in place for man to met God at God’s level of understanding.

If words can so dynamically change and take with them the meanings of sentences. Then what has happened when you cross words over centuries and languages and dialects. Suffer through captivity by other nations and as a language and a nation, grow up? Are those 66 “infallible” books really then at that point infallible? Or is there current meaning lost by literalists and traditionalists who are not willing to do the research to find out what was exactly meant. Or can it be that many who are trying to show the light are being silenced because it is not in keeping with current theology. What happens to the order that was created if it is found out that they are/were wrong?

In Genesis 1:1 it says: In the beginning God created heaven and earth.

The word used here for heaven is Shamayim (pronounced: Shaw-mah’-yim). Which roughly means in todays terms, air, astrologer, heaven(-s), heights, elevations

The Sumerians used the word AN to mean Heaven or ANUNNAKI. The word ANUNNAKI has also been translated as meaning Heavenly beings or GODS. The “heavenly one” the head God was refered to as “ANU”.

Aether is the greek word meaning that which fills the upper regions. Or the element that heaven is composed of. It is also in some circles considered to be the fifth and most powerful element that is used in the creation of every thing. So, you would have Heaven, Earth, Fire, Water and Air as being the five elements that make up everything.

But, the Hebrews have more than one word for Heaven. As a matter of fact they have 3. Shamayim, Shahak and Marom. Shamayim as discussed means air or high places. Shahak means sky, clouds. Marom is interchangeable with Shamayim in meaning the same with one additional definition, wheel. Please take note at this time that the Hebrews do not have a word that translates into "The place where God resides".

The Hebrews with their multiple words used Shamayim for a particular reason. In the beginning, God created the high places and the earth. The greeks utilized the dual meaning of Aether also for a reason. They believed that an element fills the high places which they called Aether. So, in the beginning God created Aether and Earth.

When the book of Genesis described the creation process, the main building blocks were first assembled before everything which we know in the “matter” verse was created.

What were those building blocks?

Aether (that which fills the lofty places –or- Heaven).
Earth
Light (fire)
Water
Air

From these building blocks God created everything else.

One interesting point to bring up about words changing over time would be the following: A word like temperantia eventually drifts and slowly became temper. What happened to Shamayim? It drifted as words do and became Shamayin. Then it drifted a little more and became Shaman.

3 states and 5 elements of the universe

There are many, many laws that rely on a complete understanding of how the 3rd dimension is actually designed.

Einstein informed of us what mages, seers and prophets had been saying for centuries. Every thing is energy. Einstein just put it into mathematical terms for the scientific world to understand. E=MC^2.

One of the smallest building blocks left in the 3rd dimension before becoming energy is an atom. The atom is composed of: Neutron, Proton and Electron. The Neutron and the Proton are at the heart of the atom, one with a neutral polarity and one with a positive polarity. The Electron orbits the neutron and proton with a negative polarity. The number of electrons in orbit determine the type of atom it is. We then go on to account for how many electrons can fit into each orbit and thus when two atoms combine, the electrons from one will fill in gaps on the other thus linking them together in a energetic Lego assembly. Thus, we get matter.

Again, presenting the three states we have positive, neutral and negative. Without one of these three states, the 3rd dimensional universe would fall apart. Positive connects to Negative to create an assembly that becomes....matter.

Without negative, matter won't exist.
Without positive, matter won't exist.
Without neutral, matter won't exist.

These are then three central states that exist in not only the 3rd dimension, but the 4th dimension as well.

Understand this, then we can move later to a topic that makes some people nervous because it challenges religion and mythology.

Now that you are aware of the three states of the universe, we need to discuss the five elements. Using the term elements, I am not referring to the periodic table. I am referring to the five elements of life, they would be Aether, Earth, Air, Water and Fire. I am aware that you know about perhaps 4 of the 5. The first is often mistranslated into Heaven. So when it is mentioned "In Heaven Above and Earth Below" it is giving reference to two states of matter.

They also are in a set of three.
Heaven is a creation Element
Earth, Air, Water are life elements
Fire is a destruction Element

Placing this within mythology:

Heaven - World - Hell = Ethereal - Earth, Air, Water - Fire

Genesis actually discusses how God created these 5 elements.

(Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Aether and Earth)
(Genesis 1:3) And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (Fire)
(Genesis 1:6 - 8) And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so. God called the expanse "sky." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day. (Water and Air)

It is amazing to me, how the life elements can also destroy as well as create. Water can tear down mountains, earth can envelope and devour and air can slowly destroy by moving water and earth around. Fire can only devour and Aether can only create.

Recap:

3 states to matter
Positive - Neutral - Negative
Good - Neutral - Evil
Yin - Neutral - Yan
Shin - Neutral - Sin

5 elements to the universe
Aether = Heaven
Earth, Air, Water = Life
Fire = Destruction

Law of Permissions

Once The Secret came out, every one was discussing the law of attraction. To a few of us, we just shook our head because one law that is even more powerful than the law of attraction was missing, it is the key to the law of attraction: That law is the law of permissions.

Your authorities and rights here on earth: (Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

Example of needing permission: (Job 1:6 - 12) One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it." Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied. "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face." The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger." Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

Another example of needing permission: (Luke 22:31) Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.

There is a law within nature known as the law of permissions. This is one of the "high laws".

The simplistic way of putting the law of permission is: You can do nothing without a permission.

In the above examples there are two given where the so called "satan" (which is hebrew for opposer) asks permission of the creator to do something. For being a liar and a thief, why does this enemy of man need to ask permission? Because it is a law and even though he might "move around like a lion seeking who to devoure", he still can't break "law".

Kim mentioned in one of her comments about how the concepts behind the secret is an excellent way to remove fears. I am hear to tell you now that permissions is the way to eliminate fears.

"In heaven above and earth below, I give permission for no one to ever harm my family."
"In heaven above and earth below, I give permission for my house to sell."
"In heaven above and earth below, I give permission for people to like me."
"In heaven above and earth below, I give permission for my money to accumulate."
"In heaven above and earth below, I give permission for those I owed (past tense) to have a zero balance for me."

Rule number one of permissions: One must exist in order for that event to trigger.

There are three states to the law of permissions.
1) Positive permission (allowing something to happen)
2) Negative permission (denying something to happen)
3) Neutral permission (neither allowing nor denying something to happen) If you have neither allowed nor denied, then it is up to anyone to do whatever they please.

A life of security:
Most people live most of their lives with their permissions in neutral. I taught the law of permission to a friend of mine. He would constantly place permissions on his car, that no harm would come to it. This by the way is an awesome way to escape accidents. He would meditate daily as he would get into his car "In heaven above and earth below, no one has permission to harm my car."
A few months into this there was a series of vehicle break-ins in the parking lot at his work. When he went out to look what he found just reinforced the law of permissions. The car to the left and right of him had windows broken and items stolen, while his car just sat there untouched.

The owners of the cars around him had neutral permissions on their cars. This was because they did not have an understanding of the law of permissions and because of this left themselves open to attack.

A life of peace:
One associate meditates on peaceful surroundings constantly to be around him. That is exactly what he has received. You can put your life at ease with the law of permissions by simply shutting off negative events from taking place. The law of permissions supercedes the law of attraction. By doing this, even if you have a minor degree of fear in you, since you are laying out a permission to stop an event from taking place you are putting a "hedge" around yourself. That is the same hedge that "satan" was giving reference to when speaking of Job. How would "God" remove the hedge? By allowing Job to become complacient in placing his permissions out there. Allowing for the fear to grow and give energy to the fear that he had.
To which he later confessed: (Job 3:25) What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.

How many people can say those words. "What I feared has come upon me." That is because when you focus on something, you give it energy (where your focus is - there your energy is) and you through thought give it permission to manifest or create itself.

If you use the law of permissions to allow or disallow something from occurring every time that fear arises, than you are in control and you are shutting off any and all posibilities from occuring.

So, let's allow positives. Have you blocked yourself from becoming or doing something? "Oh I can't do that..." you just denied yourself permission. "In heaven above and earth below, I give myself permission to...." It might take a little bit of time for things to flow once the negative permissions are removed, once they do, that won't stop.

Stating a negative permission positively:
The universe works better with positives than negatives. Many times generating a negative permission is a bit of a task. The easiest way to put on in position is to state as you would a positive permission "In heaven above and earth below, I give (which is positive) no one (removing the who) and no spirit (removing the who) permission to harm my family."
So, you have positively given a negative permission in a positive manner.

If the permissions have been weakened to the point that they will easily shift, you can then state "In heaven above and earth below, I revoke/remove (negative) any permission allowing for my family to be harmed by anyone."

I can go into great length about this simple process.

My challenge to you is: Daily, start placing permissions on things. Be it to secure your life and that you feel safer at home. To drive away from you and your family influences that are negative in nature. To remove bad permissions ("I will never be loved.") and start attracting to you that which you desire.

In The Secret, a couple of speakers discuss a small part of the law of permission with out knowledge of what they are referring to. It is a shame, because the law of permission is what can stop the law of attraction from working. One is the key unlocking the gate of the other. You have to have the permission to generate the attraction.

In Heaven Above and Earth Below: The importance of starting all things with this statement is that you are calling for it to occur in two dimensions. The 4th (Heaven/Aetheral) and the 3rd (Earth). The reason many prophets of old would say "So as it is above, so it is below" is because we create first in the 4th then manifest it into the 3rd. Faith is the evidence of things unseen. We know that we have created it in the 4th and it will soon be here in the 3rd. So, when you lay out your permissions, lay them out in both dimensions, this way nothing on either side of the coin can break your permission.

(Side note: My favorite permission I ever placed was "I give permission for people to buy me a cup of coffee/tea." Go a head and laugh, I rarely have to buy coffee/tea when I am out with friends.)

A Secret into the Secret

I own a copy of The Secret, as a matter of statement, I own both the audio book and the film. I do listen to it often and enjoy having it play in the back ground allowing my subconscious to chew on things that are said by the different narrators.

The past couple of days have brought much to mind that has been accomplished via methods described in The Secret.

Approximately a year ago I was ready for a new job, one that would pay equivilent to what I was making working two jobs. On veterans day last year I heard that my city has a parade for veterans and I wanted to see it. Having been a Marine for eight years and veterans day so close to the Marine Corps Birthday (Nov 9), I find it exciting to celebrate both. Yet, I can't because we in the civilian sector look upon Memorial Day (WWI & WWII rememberance) as the day for BBQ's while Veterans Day is still a work day.

I relaxed in the requests I made, there was some small requests that I didn't realize I had made. Then, in May, the Universe jolted me into action. When I was jolted into action I started working on what needed to be required of me. I started contacting placement agencies, I started repairing my resume, I started going on interviews. Then I got a job at a company in the downtown area of my city. Awesome company, I can not brag enough about what they are and do and how they treat people. The small sub office that us software developers work in has a view over looking the river. We love it.

Yesterday I was driving in to work when I noticed that they were putting things together on the streets for what appeared to be a parade. Then it dawned on me that it was Veterans Day. I was excited. The sub office I work in over looks the parade route. Yes, yesterday I watched from 26 floors above the street the parade. Even though I was not right there in front, it was still the universe in action!

Amoung the things that really is mentioned in the Secret however breifly is you must be comfortable with how it works. Ask, Know, Receive is how they put it. The know is the comfort, once you get to point where you rely on the Universe for everything that you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can't do any thing any how and it is just your interaction with the creative elements of the universe that will generate the things you need than it will start to work.

I create a list. Things I want or want to do. At the bottom of the list I write: I have no faith that I can obtain all of this, I have faith the universe through me can obtain this list.

What am I saying? I have no faith in myself, I have only in the universe to work through me. Then and only then will Ask, Know and Receive fully work for you.

Once you start to cross to those levels that is when encounter a situation such as the following fable:

A mage and his apprentence were walking through the woods. They came across a small creek and near by was a large boulder. The mage with a smile suppressing all the knowledge of the universe told the apprentence that the boulder near the creek was magical and would answer any wish one would call for when one would lay hands upon it. The apprentence went over all excited and placed his hands on the boulder and cultivated his wish. The mage went on to explain that all the power of the universe was inside the boulder and that one could touch that power when one reaches a higher level.

The apprentence was all excited and marked the place in his mind so that he could return when the time was right. However, his wish did come true a few years later when he realized that he had come to be like his teacher the mage. Now he himself had learned all the powers of the mind over time, once becoming comfortable in one stage then learning the next level. One day he was out walking in the woods when he came across the boulder and he smiled. Now, as he gazed on the boulder, with the knowledge he possessed of how the universe works and how we are all part of God thus God is in us and we are in God. How with the tie to the universal mind, we can create and destroy and the power of universe is within us all he realized the words of his teacher from years before. The mage with a smile suppressing all the knowledge of the universe told the apprentence ....

The Secret into the Secret is to come to the point where: You realized that by your own strength that you can not obtain what you seek. YET, the universe through you can obtain what you seek. Allow the universe to do it's work and wait for it to prompt you into action knowing full well that it will.

Not Anti-Jesus, just Anti-Christian

People often wonder why I am so hard on Christianity. Usually it is because people are hiding behind a banner and using it for an excuse.

One old saying goes; "Good people will always do good things and bad people will always do bad things. When good people do bad things, that takes religion."

That is the way I feel about it. Also, they don't understand the teachings. Let's take Jesus discussing saving a sheep on the sabbath.

Matthew 18:12-14 (NIV) "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.

Do they get what it means? Nope. Not one little iota.

Here is the skinny. IF some one in your congregation were to be attempting to get ready to go to sermon and something happens, say their water heater stops working. Or, if they live in an area where they don't have city water and they use a pump and the pump fails. Should that individual call you for help what would you do?
A) Go to church and say "I will call you to see if you need help after service."
B) Go to church and not call because you know it will be fixed by the end of service, they are resourceful.
C) Go help them and miss service because they are more important at this moment.

If the answer was C, then you might understand the above scripture.

Why do I give Christians a difficult time? Because most would have picked A or B for an answer. C was not an option because if they missed service, oh my God, the circumstances!

That is part of the reason that I don't like Christians that much, most will vomit up scripture but don't understand what they are saying. Or, if it is a real simple expression, they don't live by it.

Alas...I shake my head every time. I guess that is why A.W. Tozer once said. The Devil is a great theologian, yet he is still a devil.

The Legend of Lilith

For some odd reason yesterday I started to think about Lilith. The female mythological demon that many consider to be Adam's first wife, a pre-Eve babe!

As I was reflecting on this it occurred to me that in the myth, the falling out between her an Adam happened pre-fall of man. Which until that moment, man was not disconnected. The legend says they argued over sexual positions. I don't know about you, if a woman wants to take top, she receives no argument from me. So, if pre-fall Adam was "arguing" with his wife over who was going to be on top and she refused to lay with him because of this. Then Eden was not as perfect as the biblical professors make it out to be. This would also be pre-anyone eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil thus she could be forgiven for this and pride should not exist in her to take up such a argument.

Then, you have the portion of the myth where she is banned from Eden and her husband and becomes a night demon. So, this is pre-fall of man but post-fall of angels? Are there demons in the world at this time? Or did the myth behind the war in heaven happen when the serpent spoke to Eve or after?

These are the thoughts that were going through my head. In the end, I just went right back to the point I had been at before.

Lilith is a nice story but not history.

I wonder some times, why these female recording artists want a music fair named after a night demon however.

Insight into a seer

There is much myth surrounding the abilities of a seer. First off, the term comes from ones ability to see. I then would be described as a See-er. Seers are not psychics, oracle or prophets. So, let's examine a few definitions of the word:

Seer; Noun

S: (n) visionary, illusionist, seer (a person with unusual powers of foresight)
S: (n) seer (an observer who perceives visually) "an incurable seer of movies"
S: (n) prophet, prophesier, oracle, seer, vaticinator (an authoritative person who divines the future)

I am not proud of the last definition as I would argue that we do not divine the future. We are placed in situations where we see events that are about to happen.

Generally, this does not mean that if I sit in a 7-11 I can see the winning lottery numbers for this coming week. We can only see what we focus in on. The Christian author A.W. Tozer once wrote an essay entitled "God Tells The Man Who Cares." That is the truth for a seer as well.
Why would the universe inform me of an destructive earth quake in Mongolia if I have no care or love for Mongolia?

Also, where we focus, there our energy is. So, if we focus in on why your girl friends are leaving you (because you are being a jerk), then we can eventually get to the answer. I don't divine, so please don't ask me for a tarot reading, rune reading, I-ching reading. I have a deep respect for those who successfully use those tools and I my self have an highly trusted individual I rely on in those moments when I am to emotionally attached that I can't see past my nose.

If you are interested in her abilities, one of her links is on the main page.

This blog is going to discuss not just they spiritual aspects of things seen but not yet manifest, but also the real world impact some of those events will create.

I have a 50% shot of being right or wrong. I pray that I am wrong.
